ISACA Initiates New Risk Certification
ISACA, previously known as the Information Systems Audit and Control Association , has created the Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) certification. The new accreditation has been created for IT professionals in the business of identifying and managing risks through the continued development, implementation and maintenance of information systems controls. Enterprises and other corporation sized industries need to achieve their business objectives by utilizing effective and efficient operations, reliable financial reporting, and compliance with policies to remain competitive while assuring the risk to the company has been alleviated.
Applicants of the new CRISC certification must show must validate at least three years of correlated work experience and pass the CRISC exam, only offered two times a year beginning in the year 2011.
