NetLearning Announced as 2011 CODiE Award Finalist
NetLearning's LMS was recognized as a finalist in the Education Technology / Best Professional Development Solution category.
NetLearning, a provider of eLearning and online training material for the health care industry, recently announced that it had placed as a finalist for a 2011 CODiE Award for the latest version of its Learning Management System (LMS).
According to Will Passano, vice president of NetLearning, the NetLearning LMS currently delivers training content to over 1.2 million health care workers each year. This SCORM 1.2 certified learning management system facilitates the management and delivery of training courses. Using the NetLearning LMS, health care managers can deploy courses to the staff and track each staff member's progress. The end-user interface is customizable, providing trainees with a personal portal to their learning. The LMS also includes pre-assessments for each course and a Web-based delivery model.
Hugh Nguyen, chief technical officer of K Alliance, said, "We're thrilled to see NetLearning's LMS honored by the CODiE Awards program. To be nominated is an achievement in itself, but to make it as a finalist is a real accomplishment."
The CODiE Awards were born in the mid-1980s by the Software & Information Industry as a way to recognize and honor the finest products in the information and software industries. This year's CODiE Award program began with 425 product nominations. Of those, only 113 products made it to the finals.
