Consider the Savings

In order to understand the potential savings of this approach, just consider the following example, based on a typical large company.

XYZ Corporation needs to design a virtual classroom, using a computer based training (CBT) course to train its employees on the use of Microsoft SQL 2005. The company’s IT staff numbers some 300 employees, all scattered in locations throughout the United States.

Through our unlimited site license approach, we will accept a deposit equal to 50% of the agreed upon development costs of the training program. The video based instructor led style curriculum will be developed and created in six to eight weeks from the receipt of the deposit. The curriculum will consist of a series of on-screen instructor led lectures, along with a number of on-screen demonstrations, hands on labs, real work exercises and labs.

Upon completion and acceptance of this custom training course, XYZ Corporation will provide us with the remaining 50% payment of the development fee, and they will then be entitled to take delivery of the finished training product. This computer based training (CBT) will be delivered to XYZ Corporation using the company’s existing intranet or wide area network, and all company employees will have access to the training through these channels.

For the illustration shown above, XYZ Corporation will have paid a fee equal to $67.00 for each of their IT employees, and this low fee will entitle each of those employees to 40 hours of instructor led computer based training (CBT) video. If XYZ Corporation were to roll out a similar training incentive on their own, they would be looking at costs approaching some $400,000 for traditional instructor led classroom style training. As you can see, our computer based training (CBT) program is a cost effective way for corporations to train large numbers of IT staff, quickly, conveniently and cost effectively.
